Skweeky Kleen’s reputation for providing a high-quality cleaning service is down to our skilled and dedicated
workforce. Our team of 500+ staff are all directly employed, we do not outsource any work. Our Cleaners
are reliable, hard-working and take pride in their work.
Cleaning Operatives wear a Skweeky Kleen branded uniform and carry an identity card. Our photographic ID cards
are holographic and thus provide our clients with better security.
Each contract is overseen by an experienced and effective Account Manager, who interfaces between the
delivery team, management team and client. We also employ a dedicated Audit Manager who is responsible
for conducting regular quality audits at each of our clients’ premises.
Mobile cleaning teams provide support cover for absent Operatives. The nearest Standby Operatives or mobile
support teams are identified through vehicle tracking technology and enable a rapid response to getting
replacement Operatives to site:
The range of cleaning roles within our delivery teams include:
- Generalist Cleaning Operative
- Specialist Cleaning Operative
- Window Cleaner
- Working Supervisor
- Housekeeper
Our recruitment and selection approach identifies the very best candidates to work for our business.
Around 80% of new positions are filled by friends and family of our existing cleaning team, as they
recommend Skweeky Kleen as a good employer. Low staff turnover, low staff sickness, a strong H&S
track record and no employment disputes is testament to how well Skweeky Kleen manages our workforce.
Our Safer Recruitment Policy ensures the suitability of candidates, and that they have the necessary work
VISA to work in the UK. Cleaning Operatives are police checked or enhanced DBS checked as necessary.
Furthermore, extensive experience of the ‘TUPE’ process means existing cleaning staff can be easily
transferred into our business when we take on new contracts.
